Yokohama 101ZL Tires
The Yokohama 101ZL is a highway terrain, all season tire made for the steer axle of commercial vehicles.
The tire enhances the all weather traction. The strengthened all season compound and the detailed tread design increase the dry, wet, and winter weather grip on the road surface. The compound keeps the rubber flexible in versatile temperatures, from the heat of summer to colder winter situations. The siping detail along the footprint helps to improve the surface grip as they generate additional biting edges during the drive. The optimized groove pattern allows the tire to improve the hydroplaning resistance. They disperse water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a safer wet weather performance.
The ideal casing and the optimized tread elements work together to increase the controllability. They upgrade the surface contact and ensure the tire’s safer controllability. The better road contact enables the tire to boost the steering responsiveness and the driving stability throughout the performance. The strengthened casing also keeps the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure, enabling the tire to significantly upgrade the load durability. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
