Westlake EDT Tires

The Westlake EDT is an all season tire manufactured for industrial vehicles.

This model has an aggressive tread design that ensures safe on- and off-road traction. The aggressive pattern strongly grips soft, loose, and uneven surfaces. As a result, the tire’s consistent forward motion, even on deep mud and soft dirt surfaces, is ensured. On the other hand, the unique tread design keeps the footprint clean at all times by eliminating mud, snow, and rocks stuck between the tread elements. This significantly improves the road grip both on- and off-road.

The model also offers great controllability and driving stability. These tread elements keep the close road and terrain surface contact, which boosts steering responsiveness. In other words, this steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the pressure affecting the model. The aggressive tread design firmly grips the road surface, upgrading cornering and maneuvering. This guarantees the driver’s full control over the vehicle at all times.

The Westlake EDT also improves load-carrying capacity and handling power. The reinforced internal structure and durable rubber compound maintain the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. The tire does not deform under pressure and can easily carry and withstand heavy loads. At the same time, the durable compound protects the tire. This compound prevents punctures, cuts, and tearing. The durable structure and silica compound make this tire an excellent choice for industrial vehicles.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

This is a Tubed Type Tire (TT), which requires an inner tube to properly function. This purchase does not include the inner tube or flaps.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire’s overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer’s recommendation. This advertised number is provided to TireMart.com by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
