Continental VancoWinter 2 Tires

The Continental VancoWinter 2 is a highway terrain, winter tire made for commercial vehicles.

The tire upgrades the winter weather performance. The winter compound and the symmetric tread design upgrade the winter weather, ice, and snow grip. The durable compound elements boost rubber flexibility in freezing temperatures, greatly enhancing the winter weather traction. The tread’s high-density zigzag sipe pattern allows the tire to increase the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges. The circumferential grooves avoid hydroplaning as they disperse water and slush from the footprint, guaranteeing secure wet traction.

The tread design with the symmetric ribbed pattern upgrades the controllability. The better surface contact allows the tire to increase the steering responsiveness and the driving stability at all times. This enables the tire to greatly boost the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder block placement with the zigzag sipes increases the grip on the road surface, which helps to boost the cornering ability. The tire’s braking ability on ice- and snow-covered surface conditions is enhanced. The high-density siping pattern generates friction at the moment of braking, greatly shortening the overall service life. This combination ensures the driver’s better control over the vehicle at all times.

The VancoWinter 2 promotes great internal structure. The reinforced construction allows the tire to keep the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it is able to securely carry and withstand heavy loads. This results in the tire’s heavy load performance.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
