Continental HDR Tires

The Continental HDR is a highway terrain, all season tire made to be mounted on the drive axle of commercial vehicles.

The tire enhances the all weather traction. The all season compound and the ideal tread block placement upgrade the dry, wet and winter weather grip to improve the driving safety levels. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, while the stability of the tread elements provides additional biting edges to grip the road surface. The tread’s ideal groove placement improves the tire’s water and slush dispersing ability, ensuring their hydroplaning resistance. This combination guarantees the tire’s exceptional year round performance.

The model guarantees excellent damage resistance. The self-cleaning tread design keeps the footprint clean throughout the performance. The tread eliminates mud and snow stuck in the footprint, preventing them from blocking the tire’s surface contact during the drive. On the other hand, the self-cleaning nature of the tread also allows the tire to avoid stone retention. Rocks and stones are ejected from the footprint before they can drill into the tread area and harm the casing. In this manner, the tire promotes a safer performing capability and a lengthened usability.

The Continental HDR increases the load durability. The strengthened internal structure maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. This allows the tire to increase the load carrying and withstanding capability as the tire does not deform under the pressure. As a result, the tire greatly upgrades its load capacity.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
